There are days when unforeseen expenses come up that are not included in the monthly budgets because, let’s face it, we are not prepared. However, these are expenses that must be taken into account because they are unavoidable and cannot be postponed.

You can evaluate this annually. For example, expenses such as car maintenance can be included in the budget. Even those expenses that vary by consumption, i.e., expenses increase by the time of the year. To do this you should review the previous year’s invoices and be prepared for those jumps that can happen per month. The inflation of these times requires being more attentive to global crises affecting products that directly influence inflation in each country.

Another product worth reviewing is cellular telephony. Review your plan and make sure you are using your data and not going over your allotted data. Check all additional charges that were added to your bill. Call your provider to clarify any charges or to adjust the plan.

Give love to your car. Check the air pressure in the tires, your services, major and minor. All of this will lower the skyrocketing cost of fuel and help your budget as well.

Improve your home’s electricity consumption. Replace the bulbs with others that are more economical. Reduce the temperature setting on your water heater, clean the ventilation ducts and check the closing of windows and doors for gaps and leaks. All of this will help reduce energy bills.

Be alert for any water leaks. Turn off water heaters during the time they are not in use because they raise the cost of electricity even if they are not running. If everyone in the family takes a bath in the morning, you can turn it off. The savings will be tangible and considerable, and your family and your budget will thank you for it.
